Founded by David Roberts, the company began with a personal sacrifice—David sold his four-wheeler to fund the startup costs. With that investment, he secured insurance, passed his contractor’s test, and officially launched what would become a thriving industrial services company.

In the early days, Roberts Industrial operated with just one welder, tackling small-scale projects for local Tyson plants. Despite limited resources, David worked tirelessly—often day and night—earning a reputation for delivering high-quality workmanship and dependable service. His commitment laid the groundwork for the company’s rapid growth.
As word spread and trust in the Roberts Industrial name grew, so did the company’s opportunities. The business expanded beyond small jobs, securing larger contracts and
diversifying its services. This momentum led to the purchase of the company’s first shop in Russellville, Arkansas—a key milestone that allowed operations to extend throughout the River Valley and into neighboring states.
After six years of steady growth, the Russellville facility could no longer meet the demands of the expanding business. In response, Roberts Industrial acquired a 12-acre property in Knoxville, Arkansas, complete with two fully equipped shops. This strategic move opened the door to bigger projects and better service for an expanding client list.
